i'm a little concerned because i left for work and forgot to turn off my space heater and my room got freakin hot; i read somewhere that mycelium death occurs at around 90 degrees F. is that true? (seems like it would be a bit higher)

i have had my incubator jump up to 88 F before and they turned  out O.K...i think the big concern is contams...the highter the temp. more chance of contams..

Fattrout it right, but for optimal growth for mycelium is 86f. 4 degree's warmer inside the jars, set inc. around 78-82. As long as you steralized everything properly you should be allright with the opt. temp.
