I need a few suggestions to raise the humidity in my FC
« on: May 15, 2009, 12:01:47 PM »

I have my f/c in a closet where there is no electric, My fc is running about 80% humidity.  I blocked all the holes and added a little more water. What else can I do to raise the humidity?

I have 2 fc, one with an air pump and the other only perlite. And in the one with only the perlite I have no problem having the 99% humidity. There's is no hole in this FC, I fan it 4 to 6 times a day and that's all. But if you have no electricity and it's in a closet how will you give your fc light?

If your using perlite,

-you shouldnt have any pooled water anywhere in the FC for best results

-expose as much surface area as you can

-unplug holes closest to the perlite

-keep the sides of your FC free from water deposits.

lol that answer made me laugh, about the way you look angry for nothing. And in because I realise I didn't thought before I posted the other post.
