Growing wild in CT
« on: June 11, 2009, 06:42:26 AM »

If there is anyone from the new England area, Have you seen any species growing wild here?

I found a few in my yard and run to the computer to try and identify.  I wasn't 100% so I left them alone but they looked a lot like liberty caps. I didn't think the northeast was a suitable place for wild growth?

I think they are going to be on my pizza soon.

Go on the shroomery and find a regional map, it will tell u known species in your area and when to find them. If your not sure dont eat them unless they have been identified by an expert.
