I know of another way that i heard works the best (never tried it tho kuz i havet got my syringe in the mail yet  :D ) but get a tupperware bowl, some wire mesh, Damp Rid or Damp-Be-Gone (Calcium Chloride, you can find this a Home Depot) Its used to dry paint quickly it sucks moisture from the air, and the last thing you need is an old rag.

Take your wire mesh and bend the sides to raise it off the bottom of the bowl. This is where the water will collect.

Put a rag on top of that and put the calcium chloride on the rag.

Bend more wire mesh to make another layer in between the rag.
put the shrooms on there and close the lid.

This will completely suck the moisture out of your mushrooms.

I found this info at the Shroomery Forums so if you need like a diagram or something check out their site The Shroomery

Just be sure to fan dry for a day or two.
Damprid is great for finishing the product and storage but it will not work to throw mushrooms in there without drying them out a little first.
