Bottom of jars where collognizing really slow so I too and fliped them upside down to let them slide down the jars some..... I think I read somewhere in a forum somewhere that said it was ok to do that..... once of my cakes bruised a little on side worried at first was mold but dissapeared over time.....  smart idea or bad idea?????
  Thanx guys

moorhS,
You are on the right track.  My only advice is to be sure your jars have developed at least 50% before getting too radical, and also to minimize just how much you handle them.
But, in general, the mycelium has a high tolerance and will put up with quite a bit throughout its stages of growth.
Just don't push your luck,....  Patience is the name of this hobby.

go ahead flip that baby upside down upside right whatever you wish may or may not speed things up. I'm going to tell you the truth man that buddy of yours will colinize. But honestly, I have never had a jar colinize fast enough.  Patience is key!!!!    HURRY UP AND WAIT! Thats what we all do. Wish you all the best on your grow bud.
