Store Cow Manure and Mushroom Compost???
« on: January 10, 2010, 11:57:35 AM »

I was at Lowes buying some peat moss for my casing and I came across this Mushroom Compost and Cow Manure Compost. I was wondering if I could use this as a substrate and if anyone had any experience with these. Here's links for a visual about what I'm talking about:

I was just curious and wanted to know if anyones played around with them. Thanks

IamAFungi,
I have use the Black Kow Mushroom Compost in my outdoor grows.  I use it extensively in the garden, as so when I discard my "exhausted" casings, they have a chance to perform a bit further,...  with the assistance of Mother Nature .

Hello ImaFungi..Id think missouri would be an excellent place to grow a nice bed of azurescens or cyanescens. Somewhere on here there is a Tek or a link to a Tek. Good luck with your grow.  -_-
