going out of town
« on: March 30, 2010, 08:38:36 PM »

Coming up here shortly I'm going to be going out of town for a week, I had it all set up to where my grains would be done about the time I got back, but I do have 2 casings of grain that will be done with 1st flush, is there anyway to freeze a casing and get it going again, or should I just toss it b4 I leave???

If you are only going to be gone a week you could probably harvest the first flush, go on your trip and return without much detriment to your casing.

hopefully the flush will come on right before I leave then all should be good... if not I think I'm going to try to freeze em just to see if it will work...

Don't freeze them! You will kill them if you do.

I'll come by and watch them for ya. There might be a few missing when you get back, but I'll save you some.
