Green woodlover?

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to grow some Azurescens.
After the bag with rye got colonized, I put them in jars with sterilized wood pieces, but after a couple of days the wood turned green (trich?).



Will the mycelium take over the wood?
Can I replace the wood?

Help!

Nope, the green has got a firm hold on the wood and your jar, maybe an outdoor bed would correct the problem or start over...

Thats a sad sight! but maybe mother nature can repair it?  -_-

I have yet to find a good way to pasteurize wood.  On my attempt to colonize oak dowels about 5 weeks in the myc got deep enough to find a trick spore in the wood.  Everything was green in a day:
