i been eatin 'magic mushrooms' for a few years but i want to grow them so i was wondering if anyone cna really break down what i need n how to do it

if u dont have a pressure cooker(when i read that you need one i freaked out) u really dont need one, u can boil the jars or bake your substrate or even nuke em in a microwave

I'm sure you don't want to step on any toes of other cultivators - but could you help some of the newer guys with which of these aren't good and for what reason? I'm sure the answer could fill a book but it would be helpful to those of us who are newer at this than yourself.

Well, the microwave sterilization obviously isn't going to be as affective as the pressure cooker. The Magic Mushrooms Growers Guide is a version of the pf tek.

How COULD the microwave work, that is my question. I do know that microwaves heat water particles, so in theory as long as all the grains are wet, they should heat up. I think the only factor involved with success here is the time it takes to bring the substrate to the proper temperatures. Maybe it could even kill ungerminated bacteria spores?? Sounds like a good experiment to me, maybe I'll do it once I'm home again.
