hi everyone! the site has helped me greatly up until here. just a question.

im going to be building my own grow chamber using a rubbermade box 2 of the longer air stones.

now for the questions, can i put an inch of perlite over the airstones and fill it with about a half inch of water? or should i use the little clay balls or that kind of thing. or anything else that you mat know of. also, i already know ill have heating problems as my room is in a basement which inst to warm, its not freezing but its not warm. now could i put a fish tank heater under the perlite(or other stuff) by the air stones? would that keep the hat up in it?
thanks for the help!

Sure.

Yes, just keep in mind that you want between 70 and 75°F at this stage

Have you seen the incubator in this article?

Couldn't you use this for the fruiting chamber as well?
