Hello everybody :),

I would like to ask about the way of growing (of course I mean only places where it is legal). I mean after cultivating mycelium, when I will start growing mushrooms (when the vermiculite and other things will be mixed in the box and I will put everything to that other bag closed with paperclips). At that time I will need to leave the flat for Xmas for several days and I will not be heating in the flat.

So I thought it will be good to put that box to one closed shelf in the furniture in one of the rooms, 50 cm x 50 cm x 42 cm. I will put there a bulb (what kind of bulb is required? is there any special requirement about light which mushrooms need? does it have to be sun light or any special spectrum of light?).

What is the recommended way of heating inside such a shelf (when there will be no central heating in the flat turned on)? I though about buying a thing which is used for elders to heat their legs in the bed (e.g. http://www.microlife.com/products/heating/pads/fh-80/) or alternatively to use ordinary bulb (which is non environmental friendly but uses much electrical power - instead of only giving light, it also creates warmth, e.g. bulb 60W).

The manual (http://azarius.net/media/manuals/Mushroom_Grow_Kit_Easy_download_EN.pdf) says only that it should be 20 to 25 Celsius degrees (preferably about 25). But I need some more details about maintaining the light and heat inside grow box.

Thank you for guidelines in advance!
