I heard about the DOS attack - what's going on now?

anno

Not much, the domain addresses are still offline due to the attack. I don?t know when they will work again.

Quincunx

It's good that the Shroomery is back again (some dark clouds gathering overthere).

Hm? But i like this forum also. Just discovered it.   :)

Hey Anno,

I recall you posting a method to access the Shroomery when having server issues. It was a link you posted at the Shroomery to somewhere here on this site. I didn't save the link.

Do you know what I am talking about? If so could you provide the link to me?

Thank you,
Joshua

shirley knott

is it down again?

anno

Seems to be down again.

Joshua, I don?t think the method I described works anymore.

shirley knott

and now back up. curiouser and curiouser.

just in time for me to post my slating of a rogue trader. avoid someone called nugdumper at all costs.

shirley knott

I don't spend much time on the computer, let alone time on the shroomery and I can't even post to General Cultivation to help someone.  I hate malicious little people who mess it all up.  On a better note, I get to see A Perfect Circle on May 9th.  All balances out.

Joshua

I saw the "who's online" page list 700+ users online around the time the site went down. Would the DOS attack cause so many users to appear online?
