Is it a little late to start a new bed outside if I want it to fruit this year?

should I keep de amount fresh chips low in order to colonize faster?

At which rate shall I spawn? Stamets says 1:5, mushmush 1:20

Thank you all

Now it's perfect time to start a new bed.

Beds are 100% done, should I enlarge them?
It'sT now 15kg woodchips, 1:5 becomes 75kg fresht chipst

Maybe the myc has to establish to make a unique network  so I should leave the bedsT as they are

No, leave them alone, it is now too late to enlarge them if you want them to fruit this autumn.  You can enlarge them next March. The bed might look completely colonized on the outside, but the mycelium has to penetrate through the wood chips, and this takes time.
