Hi.
I have taken two cakes, after colonized, and put in a plastic box.
after a few days they started to have green spots.
I threw away one, and kept the other.
It started to grow pins.
Now I am not sure if it is contamination. Also I thought contamination is unlikely, after colonization, so how did this happen?
What should I do with the one that is left.
I thought mabe it is because they are in the kitchen, and so get contamited, or mabe I put bit too much water.

Throw it out.
Green = Bad

Are you sure it's green and not blue? If you wipe it gently off with a white napkin, does the green stick to the napkin? Then it's mold, otherwise it's bruising.

That's bruising.
Your cakes look fine.

Yeah nothing seems to be wrong with that, those aren't b+ are they?

This are good news, luckily I didn't throw this one too.
This is amazonian type.
They took a few months to colonize, but quickly give fruits.
