does it matter where i order from

I grew some shrooms for the first time.  It went well and i got 3 flushes before they quit growing anymore.  So i didn't have a problem with cultivation, but my experience with them did not even compare to what ive had before in college towns.  I grew B+, cam, pes, and another i can't remember.  I bought the syringes for 10 bucks from an online store.....does it make a difference with potency where i buy them from?  What other reasons could there be for these shrooms not being really effective

Potency is not in the fruit,it is in the genetics.
You can buy a syringe from two differant places of the same strain and it not be as good as the other.
That's how multispore innocs work sometimes.
You may have not also had the proper enviornment going on.
