As i have posted before, I'm doing a hawaiian strain on WBS.  now we all know how slow its been colinizing for me and id like some feedback from ppl either that have done hawaiian or wbs.

Can WBS slow down colinization?  i dont know y but it seems to me like rye would faster.  Do you all think it can be the strain?? maybr both?

Has any1 ever used cracked corn.-from watching the wbs colinize i noticed that the cracked corn was always the first to turn no matter where it was.  Can this be a good substrate?  i've read very little bout it but heard it can be used.

thx ya'll

"Can WBS slow down colinization?"

No it shouldn't.

Corn is not highly reccomended due to the lack of nutes, but it can work.
Imo,Rye,or Wheat berries are best for colonization.

I use WBS that has millet and sunflower seeds n all that good stuff, the WBS shouldn't be reason for slow colonization my guess would be the strain or the enviornment.  I have yet to use Rye or Wheat berries, but I'm sure ill try it someday.
