I'm sure it would probably be OK but figured u guys would know for sure... Can I keep sterilized 50/50 peat/verm in a container and close up that container real good and store it to use with my casings... every time I patch I'm having to make up new mix so just curious thanks:)

Just went and bout a digital Fluker"s hygrometer, my humidity is way higher than I thought, at first I figured it was just the Fluker's but I put it in a bag with cap full of wet salt and sealed it for 4 hours.... it read 74% so was practically right on. . .   some of my caps on my casing was turning black so I used tweezers and pulled them because they where looking like they where starting to rot... and a couple of the caps looked like there sliced or not attached ( kinda weird) could this be due to my to high of humidity??? My FC with lava rock, with 14" bubble wand with no water in  it. I put large holes all the way around (except for bottom) to try and lower the RH, I have now even turned off the bubble wand to try and lower humidity... it is at 90% right now and I would like to get it to stay at 87% or so.... so do I just put more holes in the FC? sorry so long guys here's some pic to help.... thanks

just kinda curious about that one cap that is all blotchy looking, it was growing without a cap for a while so I imagine it is just the cap growing???

just came home from a long day of playing halo and call of duty at bro's and 1 of my casing's is now pinning yay... I took and put it in a FC that I have set up at 90% not sure exactly how tall the pins are supposed to be before I change the humidity so just curious if I should wait till there a certain height or when there first visible?.?.? thanx

decided to order these to books of "Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World: An Identification Guide"  & "Mushroom Cultivator: A Practical Guide to Growing Mushrooms at Home"     ... watched that  cool video "6 ways mycelium can save the world" or whatever it was called that was in a past forum and it caught my interest so..... I'm definitely interested in soaking up all this cool mycology shit so any body have those books or heard good things???

Read somewhere on shroomery forum about mycelium being able to eat through tin foil... just kinda wonder because I have 3 cassing done in a bread tin and have 3 more i'm doing tomorrow.... do I need anything covering the aluminum??? thanks and pics soon

going to go ahead and do the casing 101 http://www.shroomery.org/50/Casing-101 and was wondering how much contamination comes into play? , is using a clean box advised since I do not have a hepa(yet)   going to use peat (potting soil based)/verm lime flour and oyster shells for acidic level.... now if it's a potting soil based peat then less lime and oyster is used to raise the acidic level? thanx  oh and that tropic air works awesome both FC's are 99+ thanx for tip 

k when I first got the pressure cooker didn't know exacly what I was doing and added a little to much water ended up with 6 heavily water logged jars.... been 25 days  jars appear to have stopped growing mycelium (or however you say it) they appear to be fully colonized but brown subtrate is still visible through out the cake here best pics I could get wait to birth??? thanx...

Bottom of jars where collognizing really slow so I too and fliped them upside down to let them slide down the jars some..... I think I read somewhere in a forum somewhere that said it was ok to do that..... once of my cakes bruised a little on side worried at first was mold but dissapeared over time.....  smart idea or bad idea??

K have a few different FC chambers done the Poor mans way, also going to try the shotgun FC humidity in FC RH is around 93-95%
Thinking of ordering the tropic air, could I use 1 tropic humidifier to help with the humidity in 3 of the chambers?? only need that extra 4 or 5 % to be optimal right???  oh and I also havn't mixed in any hydrogen peroxide and was reading forums and 1/100 or 1/150 ratio?? just ad straight to water or  do I need to remove perlite and soak inperoxide with water? thanx. . .

lol nobody online??? hm mm....... well had one most question..... originally i received amazonian spores they where black once you shook them, i just received Cambodian and  treasure coast the Cambodian is black (dark purple) and the Cambodian is clear..... why such a difference in spore color? Earth's tongue is where i ordered from seem like reliable company all 42 jars amazonian are looking good with 1 week or less to go. . . . ? just curious

Started out making using a large rubbermaid container and hooking up the hoses to run through 3 different bottles to help with the water saturation in the air but was reading different forums about how they are proned to failure and decided to use smaller containers and perlit  with misting. . .  probally will hook up different system soon but was curious if letting the humidifier run in the room if it will help out with rh???   
    hey awesome forum really helped....... first time trying and so far super stoked wait sucks but hopefully totally worth it
