Title: Identification Assistance OR WTF is this?
Post by: psycho4psilo on September 21, 2007, 01:02:16 AM
The last batch of wbs jars i innoc'd have something not seen before.  They seem to have a lot "milky" liquid in bottom of hars.  Does anybody know what this is?  How it happened / what causes it?  Is the colonized portion of the jar sitll good / can be used?

Any help y'all might have would be most 'preciated.

Thx,
p4p

Looks like bacterial contamination. Too much water and insufficient sterilization.
You could use the colonized portion and case it.

Gracias for the reply.  1st time this has happened.  Only thing I changed than from previous jars was brand of WBS.  This mix seemed to have a lot more millet in it and maybe, as such, reatains more water??

Thx again!
