I use dehydrator trays, but not my dehydrator. Usually takes several days.
After the fruits are completely dry, they are weighed and frozen.
As for the spent cakes... I chop em up and put em in the compost bin.

Here are some more pics of the past grows. I favor B+, Orissa India, and PF classic for big harvests.
I also cultivate Koh Samui, Equador and recently started some Lipa Yai in half pint jars.
Enjoy !!

The jar in the pic is there to help maintain humidity levels. It is effective, but I still manually spray inside the tanks twice a day during the fruiting cycle. I like to pick fruitsets in their entirety so I can dunk the cakes together. Sometimes this results in a few going beyond the peak point of ripeness.
Honestly, I don't notice any big difference in potency. It is strictly a matter of convenience.

I do it all the time. No problems.

I have never used paper to print. Seems that it would be difficult for me to place a drop of water on the print without the paper absorbing it. Never the less, it doesn't appear that your spores will germinate.
Sounds like it would probably be more successful to reorder a fresh print/syringe and start a new batch.

                                                   Greetings fellow board members.
Thought some of you might like to see some of my garden shots. I have a LOT to share so I will post them in batches.
So without any further delays ...

Some random shots of B+ strain.

  More soon

Hi gang, I felt this would be a good post to share some info. When I make prints, I use small pyrex bowls and immediatly freeze the print after it is taken. When I am ready to innoculate jars, I thaw for just a few minutes then scrape 'em and shoot em. I incubate the jars near a radiator heater and it really speeds spore germination along nicely. The closer you can get to 85°F without going over ( this is important ) the faster the spawn will run. Usually noticable at 7 days with proper incubation temps.
