  PW, Baph, Sin??? Can you guys tell if this is contam or bruising? The pics suck sorry. I know Baph "when in doubt" but damn it is hard to throw them out after all this work (start of 2nd flush). Notice the inverted shroom on the right(the cap is next to the cake). Is that normal or just some freak???

  I have a 10 gallon aquarium with an entire bag of perlite and it is about 4 inches thick. I wet it down and used the strainer method. The temp is 72-75 in the FC. The seal is good and the hydrometer is working fine but I cant get the RH above 85. Any ideas on how to up it? Just add more perlite? I am getting huge stems and very small caps

They were shaken two days ago. What would a veteran suggest a newbi case with for the first time? Any links to a good casing tek?

OK guys I am new to this hobby and have a few questions. I used the PF TEK, BRF cakes, with and Ecuador strain. Inoculated cakes 10-21 (pretty sure I added too much water and caused slow colonization). These cakes were dunked and rolled, FC temp 75-78, pretty sure RH is high, They were birthed 12-3.



I read somewhere that if you had moisture on all 4 sides and the lid you were around 100% RH. I bought a gauge and it will not get above 90%. Could it be wrong?


The cakes have a very rapind white growth that does not look like any other pics i have seen before. Is this contam or just the MIC taking over the dry verm? Notice in the pic that it looks like small cottom balls.
