June 25, 2006, 01:42:55 PM
sometimes it happens...

I was on a trip for 10 days and 300 km from my shroom growing laboratory, so I had no possibilities to take care of them.

look at the pictures and you'll see how they grew without any air exchange and without any water addition...

first STROPHARIA

anno are they Ok for consumption? ate one fresh, no negative effects...

and second GOLDEN TEACHER
this casing dried out and mushrooms stoped to grow

this one decided to colonize more space, so I pumped in some water and will wait for the results

Hello,

WELL, the next my post will be with some mushrooms (pictures).

Also I will write down 5 strain names.

According to Anno it?s very difficult to identify strains.

However, take a closely look at mushrooms, then choose the name and post it.

YOU HAVE TO IDENTIFY THE STRAIN. If you can?t ? just suppose one!

One member ? one post? do not post two or more...

The first member who will post the TRUE strain name will get the free spore print.

Cultivation / Re: Casing soil PH
April 15, 2006, 10:10:15 PM
at the first experiment which pictures are above I used a potting soil which was boiled in microwave in order to sterilize it... somehow I got only one strain of fruits instead of two different strains, because there was two different strain cakes in different fruiting chambers with the same conditions.
this time I crumbled cakes into pieces and used the same potting soil just without boiling it. The result is that I have fruits of two strains.?

Apparently the process goes better with the second test...

Now I have the same problem with "redboy". This strain was cased at the same time like the others two strains which are above just the potting soil was boiled in microwave in order to sterilize it, and till now any pin appeared.

Conditions are the same... results different! ?

I'm thinking about putting more potting soil on the surface of the casing...
would it be a good idea or you have any other suggestions?

You can use a syringe also to inoculate it.

how many cc (syringe)  water with spores should I use to inoculate 0,5 litre jar?

General topics / HELP to IDENTIFY...
April 09, 2006, 12:40:11 AM
Good Hello Cultivators,

I would like You to help me to identify psilocybe cubensis strain...

2 years ago I don't even knew that it is cubensis, I just knew that these are hallucinatory...

Now after my interest and growing I wondered what size they were before drying, because they were dried and remained? pretty big.
Also the caps are like bronze, very differently from own cultivated, were dried caps are dark brown.

SO, WHAT IS THIS STRAIN?

P.S. If you really don't know, don't trouble to explain

THANKS
