Nice pics....I didn't see any growing methods using BRF Cakes.

looks like you get more shrooms from the way your growing it.

I'm thinkin of switchin up methods.

lol... thats exactly what i thought.  I was going to do cakes but figured grains cant be much more difficult, im just as sterile as possible.  My first time and im doing wbs substrate and eventually case with Vermeculite and peat moss.  I would rather do rye  but wbs just ALOT easier to come by.

BTW! very nice baph.  Looks like u have a nice set up there, i hope to do it soon also.  A martha stewart setup (simple and small) with all the perks.  But for now its 1 tray at a time and big dreams.  Very nice Mushies and that 1 was HUGE!

@High4life,
I don't do BRF that much anymore.
Grains produce better than BRF cakes.
I should point out that these were multispore innocs also.

@sin2win,
Martha's rule man.
It's not hard to setup a martha for automation ;)

Nobody has picked out the Trich in the chitwan tray pic.

Is it that small bright white spot in the upper right corner? I think trich is white before it turns green, am I right?
Nice shrooms! I hope you didn't eat em all at once!

captshroom found the trich.
Yes,it starts out white.
I ended up putting that tray in a outside bed and got 3 more flushes from it. :)

Baph, did you start out w/ brf cakes and work your way up? Think I will do brf for a few rounds then graduate up to grains. So many web pages with info to weed through. Pics look great though. SAAWEETT!!

I was taught grains first.I had a good freind work with me through it a few times.
He would come over to my house and we'd go through each step and after a few grows I caught the knack of it.

Start with BRF 1st to get a feel for it and to know how the procedures of this hobby work.
Technique,Sterility,and Patience are key in this hobby. :)
