Anyone know the best water to rye grass seed ratio, when I pressure cook the rye it dosn't seem to expand that much and it sort of becomes collagulated(stuck together).

1cc of spore enough using hawian strain A?
are jars smaller than quarts better?

QuoteYes, you can sterilize that way. You only want to be careful that the foil doesnt get loose when the pressure builds up, if the steam gets into the jar, the moisture content will be too high.

Does the lid need to be shut tight, should the hole be punched in the jar before or after pressure sterilization?

Is it possible to sterilize jars of rye seed in a pressure cooker without tyvec or polyfill lids, could I use a hole in the lid with foil wrapped over it?
