So here are some pics of my (pathetic) harvest. My original cakes never produced pins and I didn't have room for about 5 cakes in the F.C. so I left them in my closet.  I gave up on the project and to my surprise the jars in my closet formed pins.  They were distressed when I birthed them but I was able to nurture them back to health.  As you can see I have about 5 shrooms from about 20 jars I colonized. Those results are horrible. So here are a few questions...
1) How do I induce pinning.? (I lowered the CO2 levels and raised the O2.)
2) In a perfect situation I should pick the shrooms right when I caps open. Not when they are fully mature correct?
3) Are the stalks safe for ingestion or only the caps? (I've never eaten the stalks but some people have)

1.) put em back in the chamber and continue misting and fanning as usual.
2.) yes unless you want to print then youll want to let the caps plane out.
3.) yes there most of your weight and are made up of the same thing your caps and mycelium are.

Oh I see well on my next tub I won't pop so many holes , my casing is about a quarter inch and is just straight sterilized berm and coir so shouldn't have any nutrients , the tube leads to a little reptile humidifier which brings in fresh humid air slowly . I was thinking it would provide good FAE without the need for a fan! Similar to the device MoGrow had in one of his posts.

I believe your refering to darksydes setup. I dont use any automation in my growing., I strictly use set and forget monotubs. I see people use these set ups regularly but there not necessary. If you polystuff your holes right theres no need for fanning or misting for the first flush and i mist 3 or so times a week, and fan once a day on second, and third flushes.

you want direct if your going to sun fruit. 12/12 at 6500K is optimum tho.

Visible condensation during colonization is completely normal. No need to worry if your visible growth is white. W/ out pics its hard to say what your seeing tho.

To do agar or any grain work you need a SAB, there super easy to make i bought a 15$ 106qt sterlite tub and simply cut 2 arm holes in it. This is almost a must have in mycology since contams are so prevalent in the air.

I don't think you will get it shipped to Europe but you will get some assistance about it from the admin.

You can clone a fruit grown using any method. But if your wanting to clone to more PF cakes, you can only acomplish this using a LC. I use agar to clone and transfer to grains then spawn to bulk. LC's are notorious for contamination, the best way to make a LC IME is to clone to agar and transfer a clean wedge to a LC jar.

MS varies in colonization times, dosent matter the strain, as for your FC you need 1/4" holes every 2" in a grid pattern on all 6 sides of your tub running 5-6" of moist perlite, mist  and fan and you should be fine.

Let jars consolidate for 7-14 (i always go 7) days from 100% before you birth.

Nahh i dont use poo. as far as the differences im not sure, i know theres alot of neuts in poo that isnt in coir. i dont use poo simply because i dont have access to it, without ordering online, i get 5-6oz a tub so idk.

when you use coir/verm you can bucket tek your substrate instead of having to stove top pasteurize poo

Ya, hit that cobweb with h2O2 and keep us posted! Good luck!

Theres a process to this, i cant remember what it is ill look it up and post back when i find it.
Its like 3x12hours or some thing, meaning douse the cobweb with h2o2 3x 12hours apart to kill it permanantly.

I use 1 brick of coir (Eco-Earth), 2qts verm, 2 cups gypsum, 4.5 qts H2o, and 5qts of WBS spawn. i get 100% colonization in 5-7 days and fruits about 7 days after that.

Yes you can get multiple flushes off of cakes and bulk substrates.
after the first flush redunk for 12 hours, its recommended to not re-verm your cakes after the first flush.
pop em back in your FC and treat em like the first flush.

Ive washed off the uncolonized portion of a pftek cake before with no issues, in the future use 1/2pint jars to avoid stalling and if you encounter stalling in the future flip your jars upside down.

its calcium carbonate and it aids in fruit production.
