Title: Mycelium wont colonize

it has been 9 days and i have no signs of mycelium growth theres this white milky looking stuff on the bottom of my jar and that started to form on the 3rd day

WHen you say milky looking do u mean its liquid or just the color? cuz mycelium is pretty white but more solid.  What enviornment are your jars in?
try and give a lttle more info with temps, and where their stored to help us help you better.

It's a liquid there is also a little bit of
white fluffy stuff on a couple of the
rye berries but a very small amount im
not sure if that's part of the mycelium
or just something from the rye berries

the temp is around 75'F - 80'F

It sound's like theres too much water, are they 1/2 pint? pint? quart? Give it a couple more day's, tho ive never heard or seen any of the liquid stuff you described.

Pics would be a big help just to even get a idea of what "white milky stuff" could be.
That could mean someone nutted in your jars, or they are to wet like PW said,there could be a few other things but I can't help till I see pics.
