So I hit up 14 jars of yt with spores from ralphster.  Have had great luck with his stuff but this looked a little funny like almost lc with spores in it.  shook it up and it looked better.  3 days in and there are small white dots of growth but not normal myc growth as i have ever seen it.  looks like anywhere the liquid settled or touched has them growing.  would have posted pictures but its not showin up.  Anybody had this before?

B+ are def the hardiest growers and easy for first time.  they are like training wheels.  fun to ride but not really the real thing.  order more than one strain, start with the b+_ but have something backing it up soon so u can really trip.  b+ are more of a body buzz imo.  great for sexy time though. lol.

72 jars of b+?  what are you going to trip on.  They are great for relaxing but leave something to be desired on visuals and happy buzzzzzzz.  but gl.  recommend some DMK for you late summer grow.

yeah the simmering was a hydration step in that tek.

Oh one thing I forgot,  The casing with the fermented smelling wbs that is growing now.  Mushrooms off this will still be safe yes?

So I made the step up to wbs.  First two jars went pretty good but I followed a tek that said to soak them 24 hrs and then simmer them twenty min before 90 pc sterilization.  Got myc growth and was going good but I am pretty sure that they were too wet.  I went ahead and cased them after two weeks and the myc had slowed down but some around the edges was looking like paste.  When I opened them they had a fermentation smell to them.  I cased them and am seeing progressive growth but the whiskey smell is still there. 
     So on my second try I found a tek that said just soaking 24 hrs was good.  I skipped the simmer and followed all the same steps, hit them up with a dmk lc that I had made.  But they look to be bone dry and 5 days in I have like little white dots that almost look like sand all over them but no normal myc growth.  If they are too dry what will happen and should I dump and start over?  Any help here will be appreciated.  PW I know you work with wbs.

heres some pics but I dont know if you can see anything.  Hard to capture dots are so small.  Maybe u can see wetness or lack of though.  thanks again.

I just tried this with some gc cakes that were three weeks old.  Only difference is i slice mine instead of crumbling.  I usually see myc in like 5 days max.  Two weeks and the slices hadnt even formed together.  I threw it out.  I dont think this is a viable option, but let me know if it works for u.

So I made my first batch of lc and it was ready to go but i had to go on a cruise and didnt have time to use it so i put it in the fridge like research told me to.  While i was gone though my fridge gave me the middle finger and froze the whole jar solid.  I am thawing now but do you think that will damage the myc or it will still be good to go?

OK, so the little shrooms that were growing on my gc cakes looked alot like the b+ that were thriving 10 inches away.  I thought it was just cause they were underdeveloped.  But l did some research and gc's dont look anything like b+ and I am wondering what could have happened.  I got the spores from ralphsters and the syringes were labeled.  I did nothing to mix them other than left the jars in same box and obv birthed to same fc.  I dunked separate though.  My first thought is that ralph maybe gave me two b+ by accident, but if thats the case then why are they not growing as well and doesnt make sense.  anyway I picked everything off and am redunking for 24 hours.  Any thoughts on this guys?  and would the gc look like b+ until better developed?

so have been picking B+ like a farmer but in the same fc the gulfcoast have barely produced and the ones they have are a third the size of B+ when veils break.  Is this normal and should I expect more from the gulf coast on second flush?  or is it a shit strain dump it and love on some gt?

I had much better luck with no holes on bottom and like and inch or so of standing water on bottom of perlite.  but i have since gotten a tropic air and tetra air pump with two bubble wands under the water. spent like sixty but know I have no worries.

thanks for weighing in pw.  so the spores dont keep will in the bag, but what about making multiples and loading them in syringes for storage.  that was my plan.  sound viable?

I recommend you grow some shrooms and buy some good weed.  I dont think any of that stuff can replace what has been tried and true.  alot of them are quick highs that leave you feeling blah.  anyway goodluck with expirementing but imo u will be back to the good ole stuff.

No I have not had a chance but will be trying soon coyote.  will let u know results.  Just have done way to much research lol and this was what I decided was the best way to take care of spore prints.  I will prob make syringes myself so that when I need them they are ready.  But I will be putting some bags away as I think they will store longer that way.  either way yur good for a year and Im 99.99 % sure this will work perfectly.

sounds like that will work fine.  I have mine setup with two bubble wands under the perlite and i splurged for a tropic air humidifier as well on fattrouts recommendation.  was like 18 dollars on ebay.  probably over kill but i want huge shroooms!!!! good luck.

so pw in theory you could take brf and vermiculite that you pc'd, then take a cake that you got like four flushes out of, crumble it and add the sterile brf mix, then case it to revive it and get a whole cycle of casing out of it?   seems like that would be a great way to extend and maximize.

i think the clean ziplock spore print is the easiest thing i read.  just cut the cap and immediately put it in small clean ziplock.  let it drop spores right onto the bag for 3 days and then remove it and seal bag.  when you want to use it just inject clean sterile water into ziplock, shake, and then stick the needle of the syringe right into water/spore solution u just made and suck it up
(through the side of the bag to avoid contam).  you could do that immediately and save the syringe or save the bag and hydrate it when your ready.  simple really.
