definitely get cupl good bins. dont gota b clear but a clear lid or make a plexi glass lid use a fishtank heater in the bottom bin filld a little with water so the tank heater warms the water and put a bin inside of that with a lid on top of that bin. theres your fruiting chamber. rinse and repeat. do as many as u like. costs about fifty buks total to make it. if that. good luck. you can chek shroomery.com to find easy step by step instructions. -funguy bplus

just did the same kit myself. homestead kit i assume. mine took 4 ever to grow myc. about a month to fully inoculate the rye berries and another month for the kowanite to fully fuzz up then another month be4 first flush was ready. meanwhile i pulled 5 diffrent bins, about a haf lbs. to a lbs. in the time that one little bag took to pull an ounce. they r great for small one time set ups, but if u want to do even enough to save sum or "give" to your friends and acquaintances you should try getting sum grain and filter bags or mason jars and a few big storage bins and order sum horse dung or sumthing like that and start your own bin and pump out sum fungi. way faster than the bag kits. good luck. if u were sterile, which its hard not 2 b with the first few steps of the kit and u r sterile wen u put u grain in the bag o compost you should be all set within a cupl months. my strain was thai squid heads and sum got too big for the bag ang split and got a hefty amount of aborts out of the first flush. will keep u posted on further flushes if u like. ..-funguy bplus

got sum going now that r cranking out the culture fast and inoculating is easy and myc growth is super fast as opposed to just spore syringe inoc. use them syringes to make l.c. and you will easily make 20 times the amount of useable culture from one syringe. if u fail keep trying. youll get it. as for teks maybe u find sumthing on shroomery

p.w.-casing layer is roughly a quartr in thick. i read that aborts will start a first flush sumtimes and then go to normal growth, which is what seems to be happening with the envys but the bplus have nocasing and r directly on perlite. my casing colonized totally in the envy bin. my first time using casing and i got a buddy who does the envys too and his jiffy mix casing doesnt colonize. i got anuther b plus set up at anuther location that is set up same way as my envy bin we been talking about.seems to b doing great at that locale. maybe air quality is a prob here? any way, thanks again. they dont call u a hero member 4 nuthin. u r the golden book of fungi knowledge. read lots of old posts and u got it all in that head of yours. i can only hope to have the know how u have sum day. keep it up. u r keeping us all going strong!  -FUN GUY BPLUS

spraying is great for dry substrate and mycelium. i find  spraying betweenext day theres a bunch of pan subs on your lawnn flushes helps lots of fruit growth start to appear sooner than just waiting for it to start flush on its own. think of how they grow in the wild. it rains and you look out on your lawn to find a buttload of mushies popd up. here its panaleous subs that pop up overnite.
mildly hullucinogenic and safe to eat. nasty tho.

i find letting them air dry or fan dry is better than dehydrator if u want more fun from your fun guy. but for production and speed dehydrator wont hurt em and your x box wont get hot enuf to hurt the potency unless u put them rite on top of it. {when on}

P.W. got them in syringe form. the penis envy and bplus are in seperate bins. one is just on perlite with no casing and the sub was crakd corn. the envys are inoculated on wild bird feed with sunflower seeds removed then put on perlite with a pro mix casing. am a newbie to this. only my second time doing it. temps are around 78 to 82 peaking occasionally to 86 or 88. got good air flow and humidity in bins. found a speck of green mold in the bplus bin. got genetics from the hawks eye. had great luk with bplus first time around.  my next attempt is with rye grain berries. they r plentiful and cheap around here. 60 cents a lbs. thanks 4 trying tohelp me.
