Title: Bit off more than I can chew?
Post by: darksyde on August 17, 2009, 04:45:27 AM
I was wondering if anyone in here has tried to cultivate pan cyan.. I was reading through the profiles of the different strains and read that the thai goliaths were alot stronger (potentcy) than cubies so i ordered a syringe.. I should have read a little more before buying cuz I discovered yesterday that they can be rather difficult to grow, especially for beginners.. Any advice?

my advice is this---simplify! stick to the basics and sterilize everything. patience. i have never grown pan cyan, but from what i know most strains will prosper in ideal conditions.

The myc on pans is a lot more fragile. Are you going to spawn to straw or dung?

My advice is try growing a cube first, I've been growing cubes for a few years and pan's still give me trouble every now n again.
