I have to agree with moorhS. 2 days isnt a very long time for foreign spores to take a hold of the substrate and will easily be killed duringthe PC'ing. Ive been in the same situation were ive made a load of jars, too many infact, and the it took me a few days to Pc them all [rp[erly but i had zero contaminates so its all cool in the end

Hey dudes, its nearly the end of may and there hasnt been a monthly photo contest yet!! So here it is! I know im a new member at this forum but ive really enjoyed looking at the previous monthly contest posts so i though its time to do it again this month

Suspension in honey will definitely work but im not a fan of the taste of honey...
If you decide to do that i beloeve its best to dry then grind into a owder brfore adding to the honey. That way you can hardly taste the shroomage.
Personally im planning on making a big batch of 'magic chocolate' using pretty much the same method but after ive powdered my shrooms and added them to the melted choc im goin to freeze it for long term storage

Ive had some Tea before that was made with boiling water and it worked great so surely heat cant kill all actives...

Hey gang, Thought i'd start a topic to see whats everyone's favorite way to take our magic little friends?? Obviously most of us will just munch them O' Natural but sometimes its fun to be a little more adventurous...
I had a great time munching a few with friends last night and then decided it would be a good idea to try smoking them. Turns out its not a good idea! They tasted baaad and had little effect. Think next time im going to make a vodka tea ad see how that goes 

Cheers dude's, great advice as always! Ive pulled them all now and started drying them out..apart from a few lucky ones ive set aside for my Saturday night entertainment hehe.  And Ive got them thirsty cakes into soak now too and lookin forward to the second flush

Hiya dudes, my first cro is pretty much ready to harvest now! Wahooo!
Only problem is there's some blue colouring in the mycelium now. I know they can bruise easily but this has only appeared today and i have yet to touch them!
Just wondering if this is normal or is it anything to worry about?

Nice one substrate im gonna get on the case and knock up a jar of liquid culture today then! Sounds a great way to extend my mushroom empire
