Title: substrate
Post by: cugak on March 22, 2009, 08:18:51 AM
hi! I have some problems with my substrate. When mycelium is growing, substrate is starting to stick togheder and it makes room(holes) in the jar. Maybe my verm is to fine or? Please some ideas! Thanks!

i think i had the same issue after boiling, the sub got very pasty looking and clumpy. Should I use the larger verm as well?  or maybe too much rice flour?  The mycelium is growing slowly, we will see what happens.
