Title: Syringe
Post by: poxin on November 05, 2004, 08:13:38 AM
I've had a spare B+ syringe for about 2 months now. I was wondering if they ever go bad? I've kept it around 70 degrees for the whole time. Hopefully I can innoculate some jars with it.

Spores suspended in water deteriorate slowly over time. 2 months is not long, they should be ok. They keep longer if they are stored cold. Spore syringes as old as 3 years have been reported still good if stored in the fridge.

Good news for me, thank you. Hopefully I can get this PF-Tek right. Last time was too much water, this time almost looks like too little.

If you have done it as the instructions say, it should be just right.
