Title: Light during colonization?
Post by: iamsofaking on November 30, 2010, 09:10:32 AM
The more i read the more confused I get. I have now read that light on your jars during colonization speeds fruiting. Is this right? Will it slow the colonization process?

Not sure where you read that, but it doesnt sound like good advice..  They love the dark, and Ive never heard of anyone promoting light for faster colonization times..   Stick with the "wheel" it works!

Thank you sir. Didn't sound right to me either. As I said, it seems the more I try to learn the more conflicting information I get. The internet is a wonderful/terrible place for info. I am sure I will have many more questions. Thanks

No problem, thats what we're here for..

There is nothing wrong with soaking up all the info you can. Ive been at this a while, and I still read and learn new things everyday..

Trying new teks or innovative ideas can be rewarding too, but until you've had a few successful grows, and really understand the entire process and why things work/dont work the way they do, its best to stick with the basics that are time tested and proven.
