Title: fruiting chamber
Post by: narley190 on February 05, 2007, 06:03:11 AM
hi im new here and was looking at the video's i seen the video of ecuador growing in the terrarium. my question is did they have any means of humidifer present and how did they get rid of the c02 that was built up. Or was this such a large enclosure that they did not need to get rid of the c02 because there was enough fresh air present. Is so what did they do to get rid of the excess water build up and to humidify the terrarium.
Thanks

No, manual misting.

>how did they get rid of the c02 that was built up.

Manual fanning.

There wasn't really much excess water built up.

thanks for the quick reply, i guess from the time lapse i could not see the manual fanning, is there a lid on this to mist or to fan or just lift the entire enclosure? I was looking to make something similiar to this but on a little smaller scale. Just wondering on what all it was consisting of.
Thanks

A plastic  translucent fruiting chamber with a lid.

how big is the set up. In the video it looks rather large until the mushrooms themselves become rather large.
