Greeting Soldiers,

This mission is now accomplished! here is the debriefing:

40g of fresh was harvested from one cake
20g was consumed by me
20g was consumed by my buddy

We both had the same experience:

started 40 minutes later with a tingling or electrical sensation all over the body
next I felt sedated ( comfy numb)
felt different walking, like muscle reacted a second later after brain command
next I did not want to move, stoned in one place and position
It was 100 degrees and sweat dripped down my neck but I did not feel hot or cold just that " the sweat"
I entered a place of much tranquility ( the part I liked the most) felt like sleep
space felt different like the room was all there was nothing outside, a little crunched along the width
I yawned like crazy
I crashed at the end ( 2.5 hours later)

I'm still trying to digest it all and I can see that it will take time to shape the experience but I have to say that it was positive  -_-

I thank all the soldiers who stand watch over this site and kindly guide all the noobys!

Hope to see you all on the dark side of the moon! cheers.....

PF - Tek / FC and Humidity
July 23, 2010, 04:03:55 PM
I have my first cakes fruiting in a plastic bucket with perlite method ( not too many holes) covered solid top outside.
Does it have to be humid all the time, let say the humidity drops below 85% for 8 hours or less every day is that OK?
Also how much light? I have mine in the shade ( sun too strong now) is 4 hours of light ok?

thanks for the help soldiers.. cheers!

If you could only choose one would it be  " the flesh of the gods " or " the burning bush"?

I did a tweak! tweak!  ^_^ call this one the tritone dump

took plastic cup and punched holes in bottom
covered these holes with micro spore tape
dump 1/8'' vermiculite (bottom of cup)
dump manure half full (pasteurize)
inoculate with a cut from BFR
dump more manure
top off with 1/4" of vermiculite
cover top with micro spore tape
place cup in a paper lunch bag
dump some perlite in the lunch bag with cup
close bag and place in side a bigger PAPER bag with other cups ( I did 16)
place bag outside and wet it ( Rain or hose)
let weather dry and wet bag, this creates good air exchange
when done Fruit as normal

This is clean, outdoor, sterile, disposable, clandestine, it kicks Royal Ars
GO Soldiers! a mind is a terrible thing to waste! cheers...

^_^ ok soldiers, Im tired of waiting I have 4 jars 50%-60% colonized after many weeks I don't know I lost count I would say about 10 weeks. I think this is as good as it gets. Not a success my first attempt was comical....this gets a " Don't quit your day job" rating
also I have 6 jars that look much better 70-90% colonized after 5 weeks. THis one I did as good as one can and I would rate this one as HONORABLE ATTEMPT

So, I really do not know what a full and healthy colonized jar looks like since I've not seen one but I can imagine and I'm almost there not bad for a nooby. So tonight I dunk the cakes. It's been very hot here, not usual, I'll be tested I'm sure The green mold loves this hot sticky humid weather.

So I will cut the parts of cake that did not colonize and proceed I do not think that waiting any longer is worth it at this point.

Just a nooby to nooby sharing .... IT looks like it takes a long time to colonize BRF jars they say 3 weeks but I think that is with lots of experience. Expect more time for the first time, but maybe it's just my incompetence who knows...

SO... to boldly go where no man has gone before! cheers! hope everyone is having a good summer!

^_^ greetings soldiers! hope all is well in your world....

well I'm still waiting for the 4 jars to colonize fully, I'm amazed there is no sign of contamination. 21 days ago I did another batch with my last  vendor syringe. This new batch went 6 for 6 and will be ready to fruit soon I'll give it 2 more weeks......so I'll wait to do the original 4. I'm thinking to colonize poop in a basket outdoors as an experiment with one of the 4 originals I'm still thinking on that one. All I can say so far is that it's still happening! the battle continues... thank the Lord...

Soldiers, while waiting I've been spraying some heavy ammunition on the enemy. Got myself some salvia and cheech since salvia will be illegal in less than a month from now in my battle field.  I'm not going down alive soldiers! I choose to fight...

Good bud blow to all! cheers!

28 days later.....4/28 final score of the first half! I think I'm falling off the face of the earth...little virgin boy is hearing tiny voices...as I looked at the jars and thanked the Lord for the appearance I kept hearing a voice saying " planet workers pull your head out of your ar's" whatever that means..
boy I don't know...

cheers..

End tally:

   3 Eq LC cakes w/verm:  19 fruits @ 18g
   3 Eq LC cakes w/poo:     66 fruits @ 95g

The three original poo cakes kept growing at a much higher rate, even after the second dunking - when all six cakes were rolled in poo.  No idea why, just that they got such a good headstart after the first roll.

Awesome! thanks for sharing results keep on jamming! I wish I get same results!

Cheers substrate!

I don't know I've never done this or much yet but you can call this one a wannabe tweek....

I want to blend some quality horse dump to powder then nuke and use as substrate with verm, BRF,H2o

1 part verm
1 part horse dump
1 part BRF
1 part h2o

then when you dunk and roll use casing of choice like peat moss, verm, lime mix or other...basically similar to casing technique

well so much for PF for simple minds ^_^

Cheers Substrate!

What do you have for a temp where you are incubating? Also did you use a pre made spore syringe or did you make your own? Sometimes when you buy a spore syringe they barley put any spores in them from my knowledge.

Hello Vandalxx,
started @ 74 for a few days then up to 85 by the second week, I think you hit the nail square on the head.... I bought the syringes(4)  and when I looked inside I realized some had very little spores some had much more, I think one of the keys is to  get lots of spores in that 1cc shot

these microscopy syringes might not cut it who knows....they might be for just that.. you live and learn! ^_^

I got spores that I bought 12 years ago and did not use because I did not know about the PF method, it was all petri dish advance stuff in a lab so I did not even try... so it's time to use these and make my own syringes, I'm not sure what the species of spore print I have is..is it a fact or myth that there are easier species to cultivate?

Take care Vandalxx and enjoy what life brings you! cheers...
