I would definitely let it go for a little while, just watch the area in question and make sure it doesn't turn a green or blue or become webbed... I've had jars though that the mycelium actually fought off the con-tams... Good luck

hey all long time since talked with you all... wish I was still able to keep doin what I was doin but when I went on vacation my house ended up getting broken into lot's of things where taken including of course qp of mushies and lot's of sticky bud... had to shut everything down moving to a new town and starting college... just wanted to say HI hopefully soon i'll be able to get back to doing what I LOVE : )  Happy shroomin and life is still good. . . .

i agree with k12357, I always pick right before spores drop, I used to pick b4 veils break but I didn't notice a difference in the potency level....all your doing is loosing weight 

the crop wouldn't be better by using more or less light, the light helps trigger the fruiting process... usually artificial or natural  light is kinda up to u....
