Hey guys, my first attempt at a grow is showing some growth. I'm not sure what stage I'm at and if these are pins or actaul mushrooms. Not sure at what point the change from pins to mushrooms is. Also, if I had a cake with mushrooms that are mature and ones that are in early growth stage, when should I pick everything and dunk for my second flush?

Thanks guys. Looking foward to your help!! Hopefully I can put these in the photo contest!
those are still pins, i say it's a mushie when i see a veil. But those are looking good man good job, and i dunked and rolled it again between flushes. Thats just the way i did it some people do it different..and pick when the veil pops and spores fly everywhere. Keep up the good work...
sweet man. I would appreciate everyones input.
Your pins will develop completely in about five more days or so. You do want to wait until the veil breaks loose, that is when they are fully mature. Waiting beyond that increases nothing except the size of the fruit. The potency will remain relatively the same. They look really healthy, congrats.
You done good, keep up the good work!
Whooo!! those look sweet! a few look like they are gonna be biggins!! nice!
looking good Vandal ^_^
Would you suggest cleaning and using new perlite when you dunk and roll as well? Or when you add more cakes?
Thaks bro
Yup... had to eat the clump and a couple of more that were behind it. Man did I ever forget what it was like. Can't wait to double the dose when I get some more... I just had to try freshies. Never had them before.
You dont have to clean perlite if the cakes are not contaminated. Just make sure that its wet enought and plenty of it!
