Wow, its been awhile since I've logged on here.

Anyway, the original spore works gallery was disabled due to outdated gallery software that was vulnerable to spambots.  Recently I've been working or restoring it with some new or updated species identifications.  It is still a little thin yet, but the highlight for me is an authentic Panaeolus tropicalis specimen to round out the Copelandian microscopy.  I don't believe there are any other examples of P. tropicalis microscopy online anywhere.

They appear to be Agrocybe praecox, a very common spring mushroom commonly mistaken for a Psilocybe due to its passing resemblance to Psilocybe cubensis.  Unlike P. cubensis, they have brown spores and don't stain blue where damage and are not hallucinogenic.
