Cugak,
You may get lucky and squeak by,......  My past experience has been, that the older the jar,......  The stronger the "Mushy" aroma when you open them.
Let's hope for the best.  I'm rooting for you bro!

Thx All!
I just wish the weather hadn't bottomed out over the last few weeks,...  Had some real goodies out there I would have like to have shown off.       But, the temperatures outdoors have been back and forth between freezing at night to the 50F - 75F some days.  I'm sure the beds out there are sleeping, and will surprise me in a few weeks or so!
2010 will be a Great Year for us all!    Keep Growin and Glowin!
Life is Still good,.......

PF - Tek / Re: casing and RH ?
December 29, 2009, 12:06:21 PM
moorshS,
I would tend to say, YES,....   However, after those pins show you would like to hold that RH closer to 90%.  I like 92 % myself.
But, you will find your sweet spot.   Work with it a bit more.

Big,
Sorry to hear this,......  But cheer up.  You get to take this exam again!   And, the last results Won't affect your final grade!
You will have better results this time.
It sounds as though they may not have been getting enough air through your casing layer, and perhaps the temps were a bit higher than you might have liked in your FC?   Remember not to pack the casing on,....  drop it on and shake it around to cover the surface.  This way it breaths well.
If that compose pile is in a good location, nature might correct that molding issue and show you a few fruits anyway.

I agree with PW.  It sounds like a temperature issue.

Keep them moist and be sure they are getting enough FAE.

PF - Tek / Re: LED lighting
December 28, 2009, 11:41:23 AM
Big,
I have never used the LED lighting myself.  But the essential purpose of lighting is a trigger for pinning, so if you can provide that most needed shock of the blue end of the spectrum, all should prove to be quite alright.
After pinning, your little friends will do quite well with only indirect room lighting, if that is all that is available.
And, as long as the fruits develop fully, I am sure you will not see any difference in the Magic they possess and share with you.

Well,....   Since the outdoor grows haven't had any help from Mother Nature , I guess I should just post some of the little things that are going on in the studio, and the house.

  A taste of Costa Rica.
A little bit of Cambodian.    Some B+    And 390g fresh of B+

Nothing special, but just a bit of what is going on around the house and studio, and keeping the Spirit in the air.
Hopefully when I get some of the family on the road, i will be able to tend to the other 20+ trays and tubs going on around here,.....  lol  And, I wish it would get warmer outside soon.    After all,...  I am in Florida!
Peace out, and Happy Holidays to all!
