Title: Super Fuzzy
Post by: alejio on May 31, 2007, 10:47:37 AM
Cakes have been in terrarium for over a week with very high humidity.  I just checked on them and they are very fuzzy (very different from how they were at time of birth), and have slight protrusions that are somewhat round in shape.  Is this a sign that these things want to start fruiting?  I am beginning to think this is a fools errand as the cakes colonized quickly then...nothing.  It had been 6 weeks since inoculation, so I don't think my impatience is unfounded.  Any advice?

Yeah those protrusions should turn into pins within the next couple of days, keep in mind good ways to promote pinning are light, fresh air, and humidity so be aware of how u are taking care of them.
