Anyone elese had any issues with hawkseye?
I placed an order a few days ago and havent heard
a thing(no confirmation email)

Well my pal just had the most awful time with his new amanita muscaria
fruits. He said they were really horrid. Anyone elese have any bad experiences with these as well?

Anyone have any space for rent (1 or 2 days)
Ready to sample the fruits of my labor on or around venice beach but really
dont want to stay at some stuffy overpriced hotel with bad vibes!

here is a little experiment i did  and it seems to work quite well and costs about half of what the expensive set ups cost. didnt get all the pics but here is a general idea.

I have upgraded to a new FC setup but wanted to share my older setup to show a simple
and effective way to hold humidity in your FC.
things you will need..(photos at bottom of page)

1-gatorade bottle or water jug with lid.-$1.50
1-20 or 30 gallon fish tank pump.-$10.00-$20.00
1-stone bubbler-$1.00
1-bag lava rock-$3.00
1-64 quart clear tote with lid-$5.00
1-1 foot line of 1/4 inch tubing-$2.00
1-drywall nail or something to poke holes in tote.
1-cross T connector for tubing to pump.-$1.00

fill tote it about "2 inches with lava rock (i found perlite to be messy and dirty)

Get a clean gatorade bottle or water jug with a screw on lid. use a decent size nail or something you can heat up to pierce through the sides of the plastic tote and the lid to the water bottle.

make 2 side by side holes on the top of the bottle cap and put the tuning through the cap, secure the stone bubler on the end and fish the tubing to the bottom of the bottle, fill the bottle with water about "2 inches from the top.

place another piece of tubing in the other hole on the cap, make sure it is just below the cap level so when the water bubbles the bottom of the tube isnt in the water. run the other end of the tubing into the tote side (where ever you made a hole for the tube to insert)

if the holes in your cap or tote are a bit too big you can put a piece of electrical tape over them and put a small hole through as to make a sort of seal around the tube.

run the lines through the cross T and hook them to your pump. you will be able to sustain between 95-100% humidity level with this set up.

i usually mist the lava rocks once a week for a bit more humidity if i need it. i also fan the FC 2 times a day for about 10 seconds. this has worked for me so far and my flushes have been pretty decent.

Going to case some rye grains in a week or so, wondering what the best casing would be for them? Verm/PM? Straw/manure? do i need to use lime for PH levels?

Wondering why people on here dont trade spore prints? saw a few posts on another site where folks were trading prints. since a "print" has no illegal
strings attached to it...right?

So the big cake is spitting out fruits faster than i expected! also inoculated a few jars from a print i took last week and the jars looked like this after only 3 days! what a great surprize.

So im thinking of trying out the azurescens. I seem to have the cubes down pretty well so i want to expand. any thoughts on this? maybe another type
i should try before the aurescens? Im also trying to boost my meditation time with a nice visual enhancement but the cubes seem to loose steam durring this state. any advice on a good strain to boost this?

a few of my new fruits look a bit morphed. one from the 2nd flush is a big monster, and a pic of my giant cake. still waiting on my 2 LB monster cake to fully colonize..

Wondering if anyone has a link/links for a good site that sells sterilized grain bags that dont cost an arm and a leg, I have issues with preasure cookers so its easier just to order them i guess. a pal of mine use to offer autoclave jars but he has moved. so i guess im ordering. also wondering why no one here offers sterilized grains? using paypal and such? could that be possible?

so  im using the tropic aire system in my FC, there is plenty of
FAE and temps are between 68-73F RH is around 95% and im still getting the fuzz. any ideas?

just curious as to the outcome of the LED lighting? anyone notice any difference in fruits?

so my new fruits looks a bit small, the veils seem to be breaking a bit too early. what could help yeild bigger fruits for future grows?

ok so yesterday i watched the "kymatica" documentary. About
halfway through they mentioned a number of ancient tribes/indigenous people,including a mushroom worshipping tribe/people.these were ancient folk around the 800 bc time?(i may be off on the year a bit)
has anyone heard of this?

i took a few pics of my cakes(burmas) and my fc setup, temps around 80-86f and humidity is steady at 90%(perlite/stone bubbler) been in the fc for 2 days now, no pins and cakes are a bit stiff(i live in a VERY dry climate so have to check the perlite every day) also noticed a small ammount of white fuzz and "bubbling" of the surface of the cakes. any suggestions? also if it is cobwebs what is the peroxide/h20 ratio?(lid was removed for pics)

So im wrestling with the humidity to stay above 70%, temps holding good at 85 though. but my cakes have sprouted stems with no pinheads. is this due to my lower humidity problems? also noticed a little spot of green surface fuzz. cakes are getting a good fanning of fresh air 3-4 times a day as well. suggestions?
