what about using plain water with the screen method keeping the jars above the water? that would provide plenty of humidity, yes? don't you have to baby sit using a paper towel?

I'm going off the land from reading too damned many techniques and methods, having tough time deciding which way to go.

I don't believe to have to go to a lot of expense unless it is the best way to go for the outcome, but I'd like to figure out what method I would use before too much longer.

How bout that Poor Mans Terrarium? is that sufficient for good yield? It calls for 1 1/2 to 2 inch of perlite but  their wire mesh is cut just 1 inch wider at each end making it 2 inches longer, to bend down rendering only one inch raise from the bottom of the container, wihch leaves the mesh sitting on top of the perlite, yes?

I like the idea along with the simplicity. What say you? or what does your opinions have to offer?

will raising the heat inside of chamber (78-80 to say 80-82 (example) allow for faster growth of mycellium?

Is it possible for it to grow so slow that contam will set in where it might not, noramally? or should temp remain lower? the temps and humidity factors here are not of the tropics, but rather more desert terrain, yup, all four seasons, (story book) way unpredictable. Therefore the incubator?

ok I probably blew it then. instructions came with it stating that if there was any liquid in the needle covers to clean em up so that stuff wont' contaminate. so i rinsed the covers out with alcohol and shook it all out then wiped the needle with alcohol on cottonball and put em all together. rolled em up in the baggie, put em in the shipping box and stuck em in the fridge.

time continuim warpage in the brain, planets didn't line up just right,,, I don't freekin know.

 for tripping is it true that the caps give the visual and head effects, and stems for the body high?

do spores play a part in hallucinating or is it too late to eat the little goodies by then? Are spores bad to eat?

when is the best time to pick for eating or for drying. I've read to pick just after the veil breaks away for potency and I've read to pick at the time the caps flatten.

And would it help to use a vacuum sealer bag to keep them longer after drying.

I am waiting, anticipatinng,contemplating now, it be 3 weeks plus for the arrival of my first spore order (paid with Money Order) from "The Hawkseye". I have E-mailed a question reguarding this to them and no reply, nuthin ?, c'mon, is this an online sucker punch joke type thing or am "I" being "IMPATIENT"? All of the studying, reading, preparing, and this? Is there any credible spore suppliers or wut? Anyone?

sooo, at time of birthing cakes does we leave them on the lid and into the chamber, or but then what about what role does Perlite play if they are on lids?  I'll probly live but I'd rather be "TRIPPIN"

Let me get this straight. after dumping the substrate mixture in the jar, cover with aluminum foil, and then the lids with the holes on top of that, and next, the ring and tighten all together? Or is it, the lids with holes and tighten with rings then cover with aluminum. Too many TEK's I think.
