Yeah so i couldnt get to the store and i had a bunch of extra vermiculite so i wet it down and put it on the bottom of my shit, and its been working purrrty damn good. anything wrong with that?

i also forgot to ask, what would be the easiest most low key way i could possibly keep the temp the same? because where i live the weather has been fluctuating from low 70's-80's or should i even worry about temp?

Ok so I cannot drive so it is harder for me to go around to get supplies.  Right now for one of my things I have a 18x18 Rubbermaid type thing, i only have 2 cakes in that one and I dont have any Perlite, I have been using hot paper towels to try and keep the humidity changing them when i change the air. I will get perlite asap but will this be ok for now?

No i have seen somthing similar to what your seeing in yours, and i would recommend not to add more water just be patient for a couple more days

i read somwhere that if u do some sort of dunk u can increase your flush sizes, but the link wasnt working so i figured u would know?

I Have been doing it the same way that you did it and yeah i kno what u mean by how u think u lost water, cusz thats what it looked like with mine but dont worry about it. Within 3-7 days you will start noticing the growth, i think it depends on what strain. But just be patient

I was reading the Pf tek and it was saying not to expose the colonized jar to direct sunlight.....why not?

do it which ever way you think more water will not get into the jars during steralization

i usually fan 2/3 times a day, its good that u have pins now you will be suprised how fast they will go from there.  depends on the misting what are you using as a fruiting chamber?

also have u tried a bleach dip, water dunk, or a cold shock?

yeah a higher temp will promote pinning, i usually fan mine every 12 hours

so far sounds alright, to help pinning is heat, light, and fresh air, are you sure that your spores were duds? did u keep everything steril?

UMM im not sure if the 6 year old print has anything to do with it but thats pretty damn old, i learned that pinning is better inside the jars but i have yet to let any pin in a jar.  Is their enough humidity? whats the temp of your terrarium? how much light are u giving them? are u changing the air regularly? post up a little more information and i kno you will get the help you need to succeed from this forum. also BTW if u are really interested in growing you should buy spores from a reputable site.
