Post by: 420 on March 29, 2010, 01:27:50 PM
Hello everybody im new to this and needed a little bit of help i 5 jars with tin foil on the top of them and there sealed tightly i see kind of a faintly white sticky substance in my jars but i also see yellow... i do not have vermiculite at the top half in of the top and i was wondering if i should poke some holes in it to make it breathe better please help.

I have all 5 jars in a make shift cage with a heat pad under it and tin foil at top of this cage to hold the temp. of 80-86 degrees.

If you are growing pf-tek you need the verm layer. Things might be getting too hot sitting directly on the heating pad. Got Pics?
