Title: Breathe or not to breathe?

I have read lots,but I don't know if the jar lids should be on tight or should they be loose or have holes in them? I did not put holes in my lids. I read they should be on tight and not be opened till birthing. What is best?

a little air is needed. I have holes in my jars.

PUT LITTLE HOLES 2 IN LID PUT UNDER RING I USE 2 LAYERS OF PAPER TOWEL THEN SPRAY WITH LYSAL PUT IN PLASTIC BAG SPRAY INSIDE WITH LYSAL OR HOW EVER YOU SPELL IT

The vermiculite layer is the filter when using the pf/brf tek.That's all that's needed. Let them breathe.
