PW and Baph,

You guys will always be hero's, you've been rocking it since day one. Thanks for the welcomes.

Baph: you still rocking the DJ gig online or what? PM me your link again, my Mac crashed and I lost a lot of shit.

PW: The less you type the more you rock.

Thanks guys,

Thanks Fungi, glad to be up and going.

Shroomzer, I'm glad someone is keeping everything in check around here. Life sure is funny sometimes, but always good nonetheless.

See you around,
Deadneck

Hey everyone,

Been out of the scene for a little while, I'm back up and running again. Just thought I'd drop in and say hello.

To Malabar: Thanks for the phone call the other day, it got me motivated again. I'm glad you are doing well and look forward to getting your advice in the future!!!

Peace,
Deadneck

Thanks guys,

Yeah just regular ole' pots in my side yard covered in regular soil left to the environment and climate to regulate them, as Malabar has taught me. Kind of forgot about doing that and then walked outside yesterday to find my little buddies popping their heads through the soil. Stoked!!!

Welcome to the forum Helo!!! Hopefully your research will pay off and you will have many successful grows. We are always here to help with any problems. Sometimes, no matter how much research you do, it's still theoretical knowledge and you may run into problems.... that's where this forum can save you (like it has done many times for myself). So, best of luck to you and we'll see you around.

Man, you guys beat me to the punch. I'm a big fan of Davie K's very large fruits, but I have to give it to Jabwemet. His crop has a very nice, large cluster of fruits packed in, the pin set must have been amazing, very even, given the outcome.

My vote is for Jabwemet but props to everyone!

Hey Dr.

I'm just trying to imagine the long journey your package will take. I guess I'd call it the worst case scenario. I'd just make sure that whoever is sending you the package put plenty of padding/cushioning for your little buddies to be comfortable on the long ride. Preventative measures would be wise to take so you only have to do this once. Patience is a great skill to have in this hobby and yours will be tested before you even get your spores. This forum will have your back though!

Best of luck,

Welcome to the forum Dr. Glad you found the search function useful, some newcomers don't. Spore prints and syringes are good for many, many months I wouldn't worry about the amount of time that passes before you get them. I would worry about the level of heat that they are exposed to while en route. If it's a syringe I'd worry about it getting damaged causing it to bust or leak. If it's a print, I'd worry about the foil getting ripped and allowing contams in.

That's all I can think of. Wait for the others .02.

Just found this video, it's pretty crazy. Only about a minute and a half long.

The stinkhorn is fucking crazy.

Sweet job man, very nice looking crop! That pic of your poo on the stove is still pretty gnarly, it looks like it has paid off nicely though!

On my day(s) off of work sometimes beer is the first thing to hit my lips in the AM (usually around 10:30/11ish). But unfortunately I'm on a 10 day stretch of work, my next/only day off is next Thursday. I have a Dos Equis in my hand right now at midnight on Friday. Hooray Beer!!!

Vag nads sound disgusting.

As with all things/ideas/teks, this "contest" should start out simple and escalate from there. Dub, if you want to act as the proctor and set the guidelines for the first round, that'd be cool. All contests have to have someone in charge, no one better than the man with the plan.

I like the grow of the month idea. Maybe have a start day/week so participates can get on the same time schedule to have fruits showing up around the same time? I think just the honor/respect of my peers is enough, no prizes need to be awarded, not the first round at least. Just my thoughts....

Hmmm, interesting idea Dub. Try to kick things up around here. I feel like I've neglected my fellow shroomers lately. My cakes just came to the end of their life cycle and I'm ready to get another round ready. So, I'll be around more with pics and progress.
