yep, i have had a terable time finding rye here. i dont want to risk contams with wild bird seed. soooooo ive been doing a little bit of research on the whole grain brown rice, and posta for substrates. my whole grain brown rice sticks and forms bricks, and looks overly wet. a little help?
You can't use the whole brown rice the same as you use rye.
Wild bird seed doesn't have higher contamination ratios than rye, so give it a go.

Hey bud, I would have to help you out to say that. The rye will cause more contamination then the wbs.
