      it seems that dunking a fully colonized grain jar overnight would be beneficial in getting the maximum water content for the mycelium. i have not read anything about this. does anyone have any opinions? for dunking the grain i am thinking of just filling the fully colonized jar with water and letting it sit overnight before casing. then strain and case
      also, when you guys are caring for your casings, you spray it down everyday right? the idea is to keep it field capacity at all times right?

mt, i just knocked up 12 jars tonight with some rye grain. what kind of indoor greenhouse do you have? the marthas home garden? i cant wait until i have a place for room like that

i recommend casing but be wary if you commit all six of your cakes to one casing and it gets contaminated you have lost everything. try 2 cakes per casing or something like that. and dunk 24 hrs before you case them. there are teks on shroomery.

is sounds ok. they have the finer stuff and then the more coarser ground almost mulch-like coir fiber. you want the finer stuff so they'll pop through. just don't swamp it when you hydrate

nice ass flush dude. just copy and paste the img code from photobucket right into the forum and it'll come up as a pic inside the text when you post

yeah cut the a/c so theres no air blowing around and sterilize the whole room with lysol or w/e and then your box and you should be good

you can get the hydroton/geolite/clay pellets at any hydroponic store and everything else is basically at wal-mart.

and shroomzer nice brf casings you got a whole 40 g's more than magic and i did with our KSS! how many cakes did you use per casing? we used 4 half pints in our trays that were half your size haha im a little jealous 

brf substrate it took 8 days to pin.

what did you do better on the popcorn this time or the brf cakes in the past with the kss?

hell yeah we had good clusters too. how much did you eat? or did you not weight it out?  what substrate did you use?

sometimes these pictures are deceiving. but i mean compared to field shrooms these are babies, although much more potent 

magic money and i just harvested and tried our kss the other day. ate 2.5 g's dry... i thought they were going to be stronger. we grew on cased brf... some your fruits seem bigger, especially the stems, ours was more even. we put four cakes per tray and got 184 g's wet on first flush

malabar, just curious how you are bringing some shrooms with you. in chocolates or just dried or vacuum packed? and you just put it in your stow away luggage?

we are casing brf with a verm/coir casing thanks for your input... it's our first grow and everything has been textbook up until this waiting game we're in now


malabar, the bins are closed and just positioned to where the a/c air will flow. we have four 1/4" holes in each chamber and are thinking about adding at least two more maybe, we have to borrow a drill so we have been waiting to do it. but we have definitely been airing them out at least twice a day

yeah its in every generation... all im saying is that they are stories that are interesting, and its first hand talking to someone with that experience instead of watching a video. its just something to do while tripping on acid at 4 in the morning im not being mean to you or the people i meet. malabar, i respect you raising your kids with the knowledge and a respect for these substances and their power. i plan on raising mine the same way. going out and sharing experiences with others is what life is all about. we on the same page? i guess that last post did sound a little harsh, but this is what i meant by it
