Yesterday i cased a jar that was colonizing month and a half, and it had bad sour smell but it didnt look anthing moldy? What do you think, maybe had a smell couse was so old?It was barley!

You may get lucky and squeak by,...... My past experience has been, that the older the jar,...... The stronger the "Mushy" aroma when you open them.

Yeah two nice jars into the compost today. I nocced em up with my LC. It was fuzzy white with flecks of green. Have some more on the way. I'm also trying the agar plate method for the first time. They seem to have germinated now to let the myc grow nice and thick.
yeah, i have all the equip. to do the agar, cloning thing.. but i'm just stuck on making prints. ^_^

Had a newbie moment when I sprinkled the print onto the agar. I had the HEPA on and when I unfolded the foil a good part of the print lifted up and blew onto the floor. Bummer. I figured it out eventually but you have to be careful of the wind.
