how far down on the cake do you pick? Ive seen pictures with clusters that are sort of a large lump of white/stalk etc where several stalks come out to form fruits.
so do you cut them out or pull them off the cake??
anyone have any techniques or methods to best save the cake for the subsequent flushes?

Pull, twist off the fruits @ the base, then dunk and roll for your next flush.
