I have a fully colonized mycobag that has been sitting out in the light (indoors) for about a month, and does not show a single pin. Do I need to open the bag in order to induce pinning. I wanted to fruit these in the bag so that I could get a viable print out of it, but so far no luck.
Any advice?
I've allways understood that the three things that give rise to pinning are:
light
temperature drop
increased air exchange
So, Though I've neve worked with mycobags, I would imagine that you probably have to get some more air in there.
The only people that I have seen using mycobags use them to produce grain spawn which the then put into trays and apply casing.
 Anyone got anything to add?
P.S. what's in the bag anyway?
You could take it out , break it apart and case it. Or even apply a casing layer on the block while still in the bag.
For casing information, check http://www.shroomery.org/casing (http://www.shroomery.org/casing)
Where to find Mycobags in London or in the UK?
Anyone?
